More Snow... Will it ever end?

Well as you can see we had another snow storm. The snow very wet and heavy. As you can see above, I got the blazer stuck in the barnyard this morning. I even had it in 4 wheel low drive. The snow is so wet and underneath is water and clay. All my new tires did was just spin and spin.  Gary shoveled and after much "rocking" of the blazer we finally got it out.

The girls are coming out of their shelter.

The girls at their fence feeders. Notice the fence is almost laying over to the side due to the heavy snow.

The guys  are eating the tree, as the limbs are now in their reach.

And the laying hens decided to stay in the coop today. I don't blame them. I will be working on more fiber projects inside the house today.

  1. I'm so sorry. T.S. Eliot had it right: "April is the cruelest month...."

  2. Oh my goodness! It is hard to believe you have all that snow when it has been 90 degrees here in Texas!

  3. Hi Liz! I don't like 90 degrees either. Too hot for me. I like about 75 to 80 degrees with low humidity. In a couple of months it might get hot and sticky here, then I will be complaining about that. It is a Michigan tradition. ;)

  4. I thought the saying was "April showers bring May flowers"? T.S. Eliot must have visited Northern Michigan in April. :)

  5. How do you cope?!?! My goodness, you must be sooooooooooooo ready! But the critters coats must be nice and thick!

  6. I cope by doing my fiber arts. It helps relieve the stress. Yes the alpacas have a very thick coat this year. Liz
